Wow, back to my blog site!

So, so, exciting.... 2011 has been so busy with the

ongoing changes with life. All in a good way, just

not enough hours in the day.

Ram ping down the antique shop in Ontario, 

(Treasures N Junk) with the blog, FB, and website,

and getting back into the arts with Doll Couture, and 

photographing all interesting elements of this adventure.

Along, with all the events that this life has to offer.

So, I hope to bring you new and interesting things, and learn 

lots of new things that I will love to share with you.

Yard Sales ~

Yard Sales, yes it's about finding the hidden treasures. 

A friend of mind reminds me often, whatever your looking

for you will find it at a yard sale. Yes, of course, you need

to be patient. Yes, of course you won't find it right away, well

unless you do. And yes, when you do, be ready because

another chance might not come around again for a long time.

But, you will find it!

And you know what, she is Right!
For the last several monthsI've been going to yard sales every
Saturday morning starting the adventure at 6:30am.
And you know what, I'm loving it. It's still

quiet outside, the house is still.
Well, except for the puppies, who 

wake up when they hear the stairs creek, then I have
to make a fast get-a-way before all the animals wake up.
That's another subject to get back to later. 

You get to find all sort of great stuff.

However, one really doesn't think to find a

Chihuahua puppy? Well, I did. And I brought her home, 

from a Norco, CA yard sale last weekend. 

Yup, it's true. She was in a kennel with one of her

brothers, two had already been sold earlier that day, 

only one left and If I didn't already have two 

other puppies at home, I would have taken her

brother too. But then I would be really nuts! RIGHT!

Well, were going on 7 dogs now, 3 puppies, and 

4 seniors. All are happy, healthy, and

enjoying the much needed daily walks.

Haven't named her yet, teedering on the names

 "Bernie" for Bernadette or "Olivia".

The afterglow of Glitterfest Spring 2011

Hi Peeps ~ Happy Friday ~ 

No yard sales today, its raining here in Upland, CA.

That's okay, I'm getting lots done around the house and 

enjoying the afterglow of the fabulous Glitterfest show 

of last weekend.

Going with it ~ Glitterfest 2011

Hello Blog Peeps ~

Incase you didn't notice, this weekend is the spring Glitterfest in

Santa Ana, CA at the Elk's Lodge.

Starts promptly at 10am and it will an amazing display of 

mix media fabulous art finds. 

Adding some finishing touches and wraping up the glitz

on the pieces that will come with me to the show.

The weather is better then ever, the birds are cherping away, 

and work is gett'en done.

Just cleaned up the kitchen after dinner,

and finally finished today's project.

Now ramping down for the evening.

Old Maps ~

Good Morning Peeps ~

Happy Thursday......

How are you? This weather is complete madness, here in Upland, CA.

However, I love seeing the snow cap mountains outside my backyard

window and when I walk out the front door. I can't complain to much.

I was surpirsed last weekend that thru the rain, lots of garage

sales were going on. Yea, for me.....

Again, I have to say the best pickings are at the Church Rummage

sales. Wow, lots, & lots of volume of stuff and next to nothing prices.

My lastest compelling find has been old school maps, I pick'd up 

several of them in the past and just now, have found ways that

I can enjoy them even more. 

Boxes never look so good......
